RE: [eclipse-pmc] API Removal Request: org.eclipse.jdt.core.jdompackage

+1 sounds obvious as per John's description.

Usually we cover these during a call, but since we are so close to the final release I think we should discuss approving this one on the mailing list.

This one gets a big +1 from me. This package was mostly obsolete as of 2.0, and completely redundant since the full AST API was added in 3.0. Worse, it can only properly handle Java 1.4 or earlier code, so anyone still using it will likely run into problems if they attempt to traverse/manipulate Java 5 or greater code.

[eclipse-pmc] API Removal Request: org.eclipse.jdt.core.jdom package

This is a request to mark the API package org.eclipse.jdt.core.jdom in the
org.eclipse.jdt.core plugins for deletion in a release after June 2012,
according to our API removal process [1]. For complete details see the bug
report [2].
