You will recall Jonah Graham was nominated as the Supporter Member Representative Seat on the Eclipse IDE Working Group Steering Committee earlier this year (May).
Recently Jonah was appointed to the position of Chair of the Eclipse Foundation Planning Council (Congrats Jonah)l Jonah has submitted his registration as the Supporter Member Representative and is looking forward to being the new Planning Council Chair and the bridge between the WG Steering Committee and the Planning Council!
For composition of the Steering Committee, please refer to the Charter.
To that end, we now have a vacant seat for Support Member Representative at the Steering Committee level.
Through this email, we are announcing the Eclipse Foundation will hold an election on behalf of the working group.
All members are encouraged to consider nominating someone from a Supporter Member for the position and self-nominations are more than welcome. The remaining Supporter Members of the working group are:

This nomination period is open until next Thursday, November 28, 2021.
Nominations should be sent to this mailing list with the subject line of “Eclipse IDE Steering Committee - Supporter Member Election Nomination”.
We will announce any necessary election steps following the close of the Nomination Period next week.
