Hi all,
The Eclipse IDE landing page highlights some of the features of the release. Please see the landing
page for the past release - https://eclipseide.org -
for example.
Like the previous releases, I would like to gather inputs from the community on features that can
be highlighted on the page for 2025-12 release. The content that I have curated so far are :

Improved Java Development Tooling : New JUnit 6.0.1 support in eclipse, native compilation support for Multi-Release JARs along with m2e integration, improved support for setting breakpoints on individual
lambdas within single-line chained lambda expressions and a new option in variables view to compare variable’s value with the clipboard content.

Improved Plug-in Development Tooling : PDE support for JUnit 6 with required version-bounded Jupiter dependencies to ensure proper plug-in test execution.

Improved Platform : Enhanced Console view pinning with an option to enable/disable in Preferences, new drawImage API for efficient full-image rendering with better SVG handling and improved elapsed-time
display in console with custom formats and live preview.
