Re: [eclipse-dev] [ide-dev] Update News Repository for New & Noteworthy Entries

Hello Elsa,

Some great changes in LSP4E (thanks of Sebastian Thomschke) which are now released (thanks to Ruben Porras Campo), the Debug Adapter protocol implementation for Eclipse IDE now support setting conditional breakpoints. This affects for example Wild Web Developer which can now support conditional breakpoints when debugging node.js applications. I haven't checked, but this enhancement might also benefit without need for code change some other DAP-based debuggers such as aCute for C#, and -more interestingly- various plugins on Marketplace that rely on DAP.
This is IMO worth being part of some N&N for upcoming release.
I don't think I'll be available to provide some interesting announcement material, so I let you and others get in touch to find the right words/screenshots/videos/whatever.

Cheers,

Hi Everyone,

As we prepare for the upcoming Eclipse 4.38 release, we're updating the New and Noteworthy section in the Eclipse IDE Help page and N&N website. If you have any recent features, improvements, or key developments that should be highlighted, please add them to the eclipse News repository at your earliest convenience.

These updates will ensure users are informed about the latest advancements and enhancements in Eclipse, so we appreciate your contributions to making this resource as complete as possible.

Please reach out if you have any questions or need assistance.

Thank you!

Regards,
