I'm fine to close
those bugs, but WONTFIX can be a wrong resolution. I've seen many bugs
that actually got fixed.

I would either
mark them INVALID (with a comment) or create a new "Stale" bug
and mark the stale ones as duplicate of this new bug. That would prevent
to set/guess a wrong state.

I'm planning to set the 130 bugs which did not received an update and
were marked as stale in May 2019 as WONTFIX this week.
