I was just on a phone call where we were talking about the eclipse logo designs that have been posted [1] as a response to Ian's call for an updated logo [2].
There is discussion underway in a corresponding bug [3].
It's been really interesting to see interpretations of a new eclipse logo submitted by members of the graphic design community, many of whom were not previously familiar with eclipse.
While we were discussing all of this, Bogdan mentioned that he hadn't been following the bug and didn't realize all this activity was going on. He suggested a post to eclipse-dev to make sure everyone who might be interested could follow what was going on.
So...here are the relevant links. The deadline for logo entries is Feb 19 with a winner to be chosen in mid-March....
