On my machine (Linux/GTK/US-keyboard),
I don't have problems with Ctrl+Backspace.  Please file a bug and
specify the platform, operating system, widget toolkit (if relevant), window
manager (if relevant), and keyboard layout that you are using.

Has anyone else noticed that Ctrl-Backspace in, at
least, the Java
editor has stopped deleting the previous word but instead deletes the
next word?

Also when I navigate to the Window > Preferences > Workbench >
Keys I
don't show any key bindings. Are these know issues or should I open
defects?
