Hi Folks,
I haven't heard any objections to having an ECF 3.5.5 maintenance
release in March, so I'm going to schedule it:
What: ECF 3.5.5
When: March 19, 2012
Why: Because we can and there have been a couple of bug fixes
(including one [1] for filetransfer/p2...that consumers would like to
get into Equinox/p2 for Juno).
What you should do:
If you are a committer or contributor, please peruse the bugs listed
here [2], and assign to yourself and fix/resolve them (or mark wontfix
or worksforme, or duplicate, etc).
If you are consumer, please report any bugs you are experiencing...or if
there is a bug that you would like addressed that already exists, please
put a comment to that effect on the bug of interest...and we will
attempt to address it for 3.5.5.
One other thing: For anyone that is fixing bugs for this 3.5.5 release,
please have all final commits done by *3/17*...to give time for final
build/releng.

Yes. :). I'm sort of hoping that our user interface work (mostly in
the example apps) is so simple that it should work on the 4.2 adapter
layer. I'm quite sure it already runs on 3.8 stream.
But so far, I haven't dedicated any testing/debugging for 4.2
support. I would be an excellent thing for someone take on...and like
I said, I'm hoping it will be pretty automatic since our UI work is
not extensive.
