+1 for the idea of maintenance release before EclipseCon and 12th March sounds good to me.
Assuming this goes ahead, if there are any pending bugs that can be addressed then it would be great to get them in...so committers and/or contributors...please take a look at the current ECF open bug list [2], and if you can work on any of these in the short term, please do so.
