[ecf-dev] Remote deployment

Hi,

is there any news from the Google SOC proposal for remote deployment
using ecf/p2. I am very interested in this, and am also willing to
help out a student that the challenge. I believe this would be a very
nice feature in eclipse, just imagine to simply send the latest
version of a plugin you are developing to your fiends without any need
to setup an update site. Very convenient.
