| [ecd-pmc] Eclipse Langium Project Scope Extension |
| Dear PMC, We initiated a restructuring review for the Eclipse Langium project with the goal to extend the project scope. We intend to add the following paragraph to the scope: Eclipse Langium also includes a growing collection of tools for integrating domain-specific languages with AI capabilities. This allows you to optimize AI applications for generating DSL programs, automatically generate DSL implementations, or create intelligent workflows involving Langium-based DSLs. These utilities enable AI-driven applications for Langium DSLs, accelerate language engineering efforts, and facilitate more accessible DSL integrations for users. We already have initial implementations that we could contribute in this direction. Once the scope extension is approved by the community, we’ll request a new repository in the eclipse-langium GitHub org and contribute our code to the new repo. We’ll discuss this at our weekly dev meeting this Wednesday (4 pm CEST). Please comment on the pages above if you have any questions or remarks.
