Re: [e4-dev] Model lock down approaching fast

I'm an EMF n00b and so my question is likely very naive.

How locked down is a locked down model?

Bug 308094, on representing popup menus for contextual menus (, Eric is proposing representing the context menu as a new attribute for parts. We could likely just use the elements from the package. Can we add such an attribute after this lock-down?

If we realize we later need a new subclass of UIElement (e.g., to represent an item that can be added as WindowTrim), how difficult will that be to add, providing nothing else changes in this immediate model?
