Hi folks,

 

I wrote up some simple notes for setting up the PHP Development Tools in order to edit your web pages locally.

Note that all you really need to render your project web pages locally is XAMPP (Apache, MySQL, PHP and some other stuff packaged together.) But if you want syntax highlighting, browsing, and debugging, you can also install PDT. It’s not much more work.
