Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] project plan locations

For what it's worth, the web content will also be migrating to Git. I don't know the timeline on when this will happen, but I presume over the next year:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=324116

However relaxing that constraint sounds like a good idea. As long as it was somewhere on eclipse.org it should be fine. Maybe open a bug against Community > Dashboard for this...

[cross-project-issues-dev] project plan locations

We so rarely mess with cvs it makes keeping our jetty project-plan.xml
up to date a proper hassle.  I just tried moving it to our git admin
repository (and I suspect I tried to do it in svn a couple years ago)
and was reminded with an error message that it wasn't valid since it
wasn't under a
www.eclipse.org url.

Is this something we could get relaxed?  Or is there a way to get
project plans located somewhere else?

Url that complained (I'll switch it back shortly):

http://www.eclipse.org/projects/project-plan.php?projectid=rt.jetty

Message:

Unable to display the rt.jetty project plan because the project
meta-data "projectplanurl"
(
http://git.eclipse.org/c/jetty/org.eclipse.jetty.admin.git/plain/jetty-project-plan.xml)
does not refer to an
http://www.eclipse.org/ page.

cheers,
jesse
