Hi Andrew,
I saw that your LinuxTools package couldn't be build yesterday and I am pretty sure it is caused by the removal of this feature.
So I removed

It wasn't _just_ added but since we (Linux Tools) joined late it hasn't
been around for too long.

I'm going to email our list which should get all of our committers and
adopters but I'll also announce it here.
