Re: [cross-project-issues-dev] Modifying Linux Tools contribution

Its certainly ok to remove from .build file if that's what you mean. Especially if it was just added in the last few days and now needs to be removed.

If you mean users/adopters need to be notified that you are removing something from this release that appeared in some few milestones, then
yes, ok to remove it if you must (that's between your committers and adopters) but yes, a wide-spread notice that its being removed is good, when
making such a large change "last minute". (It helps to have a bugzilla, explaining why its being removed, how it was added mistakenly, etc.).
And, of course, any release materials/ip logs may need to be updated ... if you are talking about last minute change in plans and it was included there also.

Thanks,

Subject: [cross-project-issues-dev] Modifying Linux Tools contribution
Sent by: cross-project-issues-dev-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi,

I made a mistake with the original Linux Tools contribution and included
a feature (a man page viewer) that shouldn't be a part of Helios.  Is it
okay to remove it at this point?

Thanks,

Andrew
