If you've never participated on the simultaneous release before, you
really should read the document. Chances are there is something you
must do. I'd like to invite David, Markus, Kim and Nathan to review
the document (at your earliest convenience) to make sure all the dates
(and steps) are accurate.
At this time, the most urgent need I have is to liberate
disk space on download.eclipse.org. I've recently had 2 mirrors
ask me how to trim the size of their Eclipse mirror, or risk losing
them as mirrors. Some mirrors have also begun removing random
directories of old releases, which causes download errors for our
users. For instance, iBiblio is no longer hosting Galileo GA and
Galileo SR1, yet they appear in our list of mirrors for technology
projects.
