With cdt's releng being changed for git, could this issue please be addressed?

For our current product release, we've (again) run at risk not providing proper
source due to a version mismatch. Getting source out of CVS is not a good
option since the label cannot be computed automatically so it remains a manual
step.

CDT does ship source bundles for all its other bundles. 
Please fix the releng process to provide source for these bundles as well.
