RE: [cdt-doc-dev] CDT welcome page

From my point of view the Welcome page should be designed to help the
user get up and running as soon as possible.
To that end, having a link to the Tutorial and What's New makes a lot of
sense.
Just my 2 cents.

I am working on a CDT help plugin and I am soliciting feedback on the
inclusion of two items on what will be the CDT welcome page.
1. "What's New" heading that points the user to the relevant topic in
the CDT online help. The "What's New" section will highlight significant
changes the CDT.
2. "Tutorial" heading that points the user to the relevant book in the
CDT online help.
While neither of the two headings above appear in the other Eclipse
welcome pages, I don't see any reason why they can't be added to a CDT
welcome page.
