Linux (Xubuntu 18.04 specifically) wraps fine. I am not sure how to debug this without being able to reproduce it :-(

I am also not sure how to keep the console closed. However thanks to Simeon Andreev's work in 2020-12 the console can now be closed - see "New build console actions" in https://wiki.eclipse.org/CDT/User/NewIn101#Build
