Re: [cdt-dev] build console - review patch?

Hi,

Perhaps a new extension point is overkill (I couldn't find an existing one to simply add en element to) but it sure would be nice if non-C projects could make use of the new logging capability that offers so much value and not be second-class citizens.  If anyone has a simpler way to make that happen, it would be most welcome!

Build Console no longer shows for non-C/C++ Projects

(that was recently broken and I think it is used not only by us (i.e. qnx) but other cdt-based project)
I can commit it, but I prefer somebody else reviewing it.
Please, don't. The patch defines a new extension point for the save console feature. The console design and this feature in particular are pretty much in flux yet. I think it is better to return to that feature after 7.0.

I would commit a simple fix which lets the console work as before for non-CDT project though.

Thanks,
Andrew
