Hi Michael,

There is already a patch committed on the 6.0.x and 6.1 branches for the 
64 bit binaries, see bug 270790.

You can get the nightly builds

As for the multi-thread issue, I proposed a patch in bug 269838 but it 
seems no one is looking at CDI + Mac stuff. Other stalled bugs are 
265483, 294538 and 294537. I will have more time in two weeks to look at 
more bugs including 277816, 250037. I hope I will get some attention 
from committers even if those bugs are debug related on Mac. Also, it 
would be great to have DSF working well for 6.1, I will try to look at 
this also.
