RE: [cdt-dev] RC5/Final Candidate available
|
I also ran some tests on Ubuntu, but in a virtual machine.
I found some minor things:
- When installing software through the CDT archive file, I cannot expand
the list of feature to see what is part of a main group. I had to
select
an entire group, press Next and then press Back to be able to unselect
things.
(I'm guessing this is a platform issue.)
- While running DSF-GDB in the memory view, the monitors where not being
shown
on the left pane. After restarting eclipse, I no longer see this
problem.
I won't open a bug since I can't see it anymore.
- Again in the memory view, it does not switch to a new monitor after
its creation.
After restarting eclipse, I no longer see this problem.
I won't open a bug since I can't see it anymore.
- Memory browser refresh button is grayed out. Maybe I'm not using it
properly?
- memory browser makes gdb HEAD crash (not a big deal, but would be nice
to fix before GDB 7.0)
This may be a GDB problem, or could be related to a potentially wrong
MI command of
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=276338
- in DSF-GDB, race condition when getting a ^connect for post-mortem
launch,
because we don't clear our cache on a ^connect
I've opened https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=280327
- fast stepping was not fast at all, but it may be because I'm running
in a virtual machine.
Maybe someone can try it?
