Re: [cdt-dev] M4 build for Galileo

I'm not aware of any compatibility issues that would preclude using CDT 6.0 M4 with Eclipse 3.4. Unless such a compatibility issue does exist, we should not cut the umbilical cord connecting CDT 6.0 to Eclipse 3.4.

Good catch. I'll update this for our next build.

I've tested CDT 6.0 on Eclipse 3.5M4 and everything seems to be working.

Question about build

I found that in build.xml 1.154

<property name="eclipseDist" value="/home/data/httpd/download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/R-3.4-200806172000/eclipse-SDK-3.4-linux-gtk-ppc.tar.gz"/>

Does that mean CDT 6.0 can be installed on 3.4 eclipse? or that is just a mistake and eclipse 3.5 should be used here?
