Re: [cdt-dev] Debugging on Solaris 10 i386

Right now "the way" requires that someone write some debugger plugins for dbx. As far as I know, no such plugins exist.

[cdt-dev] Debugging on Solaris 10 i386

Hi,

I am having issues getting the Eclipse CDT debugger to work on Solaris 10 / i386 using gdb. Turns out that the problem might be due to gdb not being able to run standalone on our system either without crashing, whereas dbx works fine (and thus SunStudio 10 works). In my quest to get Eclipse adopted here, does anyone know if there is a way to use dbx as the underlying debugger for CDT instead of gdb ??

Thanks,
Mike
