Actually, I think the biggest thanks goes
to Doug Schaefer for his
leadership, dedication, enthusiasm, technical contributions, etc. He’s
done a great job through both the lean times and the better times.
Thanks,
Leo

Subject: [cdt-dev] CDT 4 is Now
Available!
Again, thanks to all of you for your most valued
contributions. This has been a great year for the CDT as we’ve grown into
a force to be reckoned with.
A special thanks go to the committers who worked so hard at
getting their features done and bugs fixed. And I especially appreciate how we all
worked together as a team, even though we work for different employers who may
pull us in vastly different directions. You truly share the passion I have of
making the CDT the best damn C/C++ IDE in the world.
But the biggest thanks I have goes to the other contributors
who submitted bug reports, asked great questions, and especially to those who
contributed patches. This is definitely the biggest area of growth I’ve
seen and it really gives me a good feeling that we’ll continue to have a
very healthy community.
I have a few more details on my blog, http://cdtdoug.blogspot.com/2007/06/cdt-4-now-available.html.
We’ll see what issues Beth is having (as I watch my Inbox fill up as I
type this J) But the CDT should be downloadable
from the Europa site, the Eclipse download page via the C/C++ package, and the
CDT Europa site, http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/releases/europa.
Thanks and enjoy CDT 4!
BTW, I wish you all could be here in Ottawa to help celebrate the Europa launch
today. At they very least, I hope to see you at the CDT Summit in September.
