Ok, if you have all of things that I mentioned below but it still doesn't
work, then you need to go to the org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc
directory in your eclipse/plugin to check whether the oda-jdbc.jar existed
there. If no, then you need to run the BuildOdaJdbc.xml to generate the jar
file and copy the jar into your
eclipse/plugin/org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc
Try it and see whether it works.
Our developer is writing an example about oda and going to put it on the
news group web page to give the instruction how people can create and
configure the odaDataSet/odaDataSource.
BWT, if you have any future problem you also can put your question on the
news group web page instead of using the mail :)
