Dear Tri,

 

yesterday, the Automotive PMC met to discuss the current open committer nominations.

 

The Automotive PMC decided to keep the nomination open for further 4 weeks and not to vote right now, as we still miss some records.

Please show, that you have understood and that you are following the Open Source Rules of Engagement [1], the Eclipse Foundation Development Process [2] and Handbook. [3]

 

We would like to see,

• That you are able to review PRs from other committers and contributors, which results in improvements. Please add links to the PRs
• Your own PRs, which contains e.g., feature development. Please add links to the PRs
• Further contributions like increasing Code Quality, increasing Code Coverage, showing test results from your developments. Please provide links.
• …

 

The role of a committer [4] is:

• Operate in an open, transparent, and meritocratic manner;
• Write code (and other project content) and push it directly into the project’s source code repository;
• Review contributions (merge and pull requests) from contributors;
• Engage in the Intellectual Property Due Diligence Process;
• Vote in committer and project lead elections;
• Engage in the project planning process; and
• Otherwise represent the interests of the open source project.

 

And you should demonstrate, that you are able to fulfill the role of a committer
