Hello,

I'm trying to draw a couple of icons for my Eclipse plugin, and as I'm
using GIMP as a drawing tool, I'm lookig for an Eclipse 256 Color Palette
(see http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-UI-Guidelines/Conten ts.html)
in GIMP format (.gpl-file). Maybe somebody here has done the job already
and could share this palette?

WBW,
Timur Shakirov

If you copy the palette image from the eclipse style guide:

http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-UI-Guidelines/images /256palette.gif

In gimp (I'm using gimp 2.0.1) you open this image and do
File->Dialogue->Indexed Palette. Gimp will create the palette from the
image for you.

If you then go to File->Dialogue->Palettes. Create a palette called
"eclipse-icons" and save it. It should then appear in the list of palettes.
Select the palette in the list, right click, and select "Import". You then
have the option to select the current image as the source of the palette
data. Having done this your new palette will allways be available for new
icon design.

Cheers Steve.
