Hi,
I just published a new version to our update site. The following bugs
have been fixed:

"Long symbolic bundle names get truncated when creating bundle jars"
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=240116

"continue on error isn't set for MaterializationContext"
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=240770

"Incorrect calculated component version match"
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=240783

"MaterializationStatistics - cancellation in an early phase"
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=240811

"Buckminster needs to be able to handle network glitches better"
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=241048

"The eclipse.import reader reads the same files multiple times"
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=241067

Thanks for reporting and supplying patches.

Regards,
Thomas Hallgren

Hi Thomas,

I've just dropped it into my build system, but now I'm getting way more
downloads than normal. It's bringing in stuff from the Ganymede update
site that I don't need, for example,

[java] Downloading
ftp://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/eclipse/releases/ganymede/features/o rg.eclipse.stp.bpmn.feature_1.0.0.200806121858-4--7E77c7UAEA cQc.jar

[java] Downloading
ftp://ftp.heanet.ie/pub/eclipse/releases/ganymede/features/o rg.eclipse.stp.eid.feature_0.8.0.200806121858-17k-8IECyKmLOP yly6.jar

I have no dependency anywhere on the STP, so has something changed that
could cause this problem? I'm not even sure where these are being
downloaded to, there's no real sign of them in my workspace anywhere.

Many thanks,
Adrian.

Hi Thomas

Will you be applying any of these patches to the eclipse 3.3 branch? Or
is 3.3 unsupported now 3.4 is released? I don't really want to upgrade to
3.4 but I would like to have an official buckminster release with the name
truncation problem fixed.

Regards
Doug

Hi Douglas,
The changes will be applied to the 3.3 branch as well. I'll get back to
you as soon as I publish.

Thomas Hallgren

Hi Douglas,
I just published new stuff to our updates-3.3 site and I also uploaded a
new product version. See
http://www.eclipse.org/buckminster/downloads.html for more details.

Give it an hour or so to reach the mirrors.

Regards,
Thomas Hallgren
