Hi,
by plug-ins we do not refer to widgets, as widgets by definition belong to
the UI-layer of an application. There will be a namespace switch of the
current RAP implementation to the same package names as the RCP
(SWT/JFace/Workbench) implementation, so that the reuse of RCP code will be
simplified. Still the transformation of a RCP project to an RAP project will
most of the time need some additional effort, because. RAP will only support
a subset of RCP functionalities.
We try to provide as much of the SWT widgets as possible, but due to
resource limitations not everything will be implemented in the 1.0 release
(besides that some stuff may not work due to limitations of the different
environment). But there is still the possibility to implement such a missing
widget by your own and contribute it to the project :-)
Ciao
