Hi there,

I have:
Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers
Version: Kepler Service Release 1
Build id: 20130919-0819

RXTX End-User Runtime

Target Management Terminal Eclipse TM Project

But in the terminal window -> Terminal Settings -> Serial, the Combo box for Port is empty. I manually input /dev/ttyUSB0 and try to connect. It reported "No such port: '/dev/ttyUSB0/'"

My OS is CentOS6.4 virtual machine. Actually I can use minicom to use ttyUSB0.

I found a similar topic But it seems old and won't help.

Do you know what's wrong?

I had this issue on Ubuntu and the problem was a permissions issue on the /dev/tty device. In my case it was accessible by default to members of the 'dialout' group. Adding myself to that group, logging out and back in again did the trick.
