Installing EMF on eclipse 3.4 M6 [message #419152]

Ed,

I have downloaded eclipse 3.4 M6 with RCP flavour but trying to add EMF
seems to be buggy. I have added the update site following this:

http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/updates/

but not sure which plugins to choose. Choosing all or some of the
plugins gives me the warning:

The software item you selected may not be valid with your current
installation.

Well, seems the update site

http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/updates/releases/

does not have any EMF 2.4 which works on eclipse 3.4, I used

http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/updates/milestones/

instead.

You should step up to Eclipse 3.4M7 + EMF 2.4M7, now that they're out.
The p2 Install Manager is much better than it was in M6.
