As follow up to our meeting discussion,
I did find this old reference that describes the project compatibility
requirement.

I'm not sure I can even find the 3.0
plan. And in 3.1 and 3.2 plans, we seem to have just left that section
empty. 

But, I think many of us have this history
ingrained as a common requirement .... common knowledge.  

Just wanted to forward this on, in case
it aides your updates or jogs our collective memory further.
