Tim,

It might be better if the members created a UI committee just like the Architecture, Requirements, and Planning committees. The committee would be charged with ensuring the overall UI consistency of the platform. It would be staffed by member companies. There would not be a dedicated Eclipse Foundation employee.

I think this sounds like a good idea, but I'd also like to hear other
opinions from WTP PMC members.

I would like to hear your opinions on whether this is a good idea. My
inclination is "yes". But it would have to be clearly seen as a value
add to
the projects, or the exercise would certainly fail.
