| Re: [wb-dev] Re-license from EPL-1.0 to EPL-2.0 for 1.20? |
+1 IIRC there is tooling available, but I can't quickly find it.
Hi Patrick,
I did this update for the platform and yes I only had to update the licence header and replace / remove the copyright file in the source folder. No additional committer or contributor agreement was necessary IIRC.
Best regards, Lars

    Hello everyone,
this is a topic I've thought about every now and then.
WindowBuilder is currently still distributed under the EPL-1.0,
which has long been deprecated with a clear intent for projects to
      migrate to the EPL-2.0.
    If I understand the FAQ
correctly, this should be as straightforward as updating the
license header and documentation, as well as informing the EMO
team, without having to e.g. explicitly requiring approval of all
previous committers. Though I'd obviously like to hear everyones
thoughts, before I pursue this any further.
For anyone who has done this for a similar project in the past,
have I missed any steps? Unless there are any objections, I would
otherwise try to get this done for the M2 which is due in three
      weeks.
    Many regards,
    Patrick
