I am a bit on the run, so I can't test it, but here some ideas:
- did you try to do the copy/paste from one layer to the other? It
should work, even if the attributes are not the same. Worst case it
should just copy the gwometry over
- I am not sure if copy/paste only works in the case of same
projection. In case you just need to first export one of the layers in
the CRS of the second and then do the copy/paste afterwards. Here the
