Hallo,
I tested the Peakflow function with a basin with a surface of
27 km², but I couldn't finish the work, because the h.draindir function required too much time.
I worked with a region resolution of 2,5 x
2,5 m and 5,0 x
5,0 m and the result was the same. The maximal memory can't be higher than 1024 MB.
Is it really necessary to filter the flow-direction map? I tried
to apply the h.tca function with the unfiltered data, but the function stopped with an error.
In the h.draindir function what does the Lambda value mean?
If I can't bypass the h.draindir function, could you please say
me, how can I make the process faster?
