[udig-users] Export a uDIG project

Dear Sirs:

Is there any way (I believe this would be a complex procedure indeed!)
to export a project into a spatial database as PostGIS, having defined
it initially from shapefiles?

I know that it is possible to go from UML to Java to PostGIS using
Hibernate and Hibernate Spatial, I am just wondering if such a schema +
data conversion exists in uDIG. Apparently, uDIG can do the reverse,
from PostGIS (and others) into shapefiles.
