I am sure that in the upcoming version you are able to choose wherever
you want to save your project. Not sure instead if it was possible
before.

I am working on this right now. In fact before that wasn't possible,
i.e. there was no paper format.
In future, when you will create a page in the print editor, it will
ask you the page format first.
