Re: [udig-users] Transform coordinates

I have a tutorial the covers using a CSV file; can you export to CSV?

I know there is a Java library for Excel that we could use to read the format directly; but this example code is something you could run today. You will however need to check out the udig source code - and include the examples when you run.

The documentation is here:
http://udig.refractions.net/confluence/display/DEV/2+Training+Materials#2TrainingMaterials-UDIGWorkshopAdvanced

It describes the plug-ins that are involved.

Hello,
I think I need some support:
I have a list of coordinates (beaches) in excell format and I would like to make out of them a shapefile with point-features. Is that possible? If not can you give me any useful suggestion?

thanks in advance
Daniel
