[udig-users] Reshape with PostGIS layer

Hi all,
I am trying to do a reshape with a PostGIS layer in which the geometry 
column is called "shape" but I have some problems related to the 
creation of the new geometry in the reshaped layer.
The problem is that "shape" means nothing, I think, for the reshape 
function, so I tried to substitute the
shape=shape (orignal)
in
the_geom=shape
but nothing changes.

Is the reshape function usable also for postgis layers or is it thought 
just for shapefiles?
In fact if I export the postgis layer as a shapefile and then do the 
reshape everything works properly.
