Hi Mauricio,

I have a request for the View.  When switching to the view the display  
thread does quite a bit of work causing the application to hang for a  
moment.  It is not the nicest for demos.  If you could take a look to  
see if some of the work can be offloaded to another thread that would  
make for a nicer user experience.
