Re: [udig-devel] sox code a go

Welcome back!

What I would like to do is explore a couple of the process, spatial tool box things with you and your mentor :D We have too many half completed ideas lurking ready to strike.

Hi to everybody!

As stated by Andrea I am back and willing to start.
The GSoC project will be part of my MSc project so I am currently struggling to build a tough and sustainable research project to host the development effort.
This should lead to a better overall result since uDig will be compared against other frameworks so highlighting its virtues.

Next week I will be a bit busy but will start switching my mind on technical details and planning.
I will be fully on the project from June, 10th.

I loved last year Jody's introduction.. ..but I am not sure it will be strictly required given the scope of my work: the Spatial Toolbox.
Surely in the case Jody is available we could arrange a quick review of core RCP concepts and just update me on latest codebase transitions so to save his precious time. One year without getting into the platform is a long time!

So looks like we are in the OSGeo SOC announcement , I am willing to do a couple of google hangouts to help get a development environment and so on going.

Any idea when the action starts?
