Scratch that one of my SVG examples works (the one from the SLD cookbook); so batik is still ticking over.

- the SVG symbol shows up in the layers view (so something is able to draw it)
- but my map shows up empty …

Can I ask for confirmation (can someone else reproduce the problem?) before I report it to geotools-devel.
