A short follow up: I updated to the latest master and exported. I get

the dropins and everything works properly.

Are you sure you have everything on board?

I will do so again and check :-)

I wonder if it is something silly like my deploy scripts ignoring empty folders? Did you just export - or did you run the deploy scripts as well? 

I am abroad the whole day, I will try to answer whenever I can.

I should be okay.

With the split / merge tool returning to the fold (thanks maurcio and Levi for the review) and the possibility of Filter Viewers updating your Style pages this should be an amazing release :-)
