I was doing some reading - and talking to Kenneth on IRC and figured I was missing an important key fact.

And now I figured out what it is:

- http://wiki.eclipse.org/JFace_Data_Binding

This the the JFace support for "binding" stuff to UI components and making all the validation messages available and so forth.

I am going to review your patch; and then see if I can update the tutorial to use JFace data binding (with the "obverservable" being a feature and the validation and so forth being supplied by the feature type).
