Re: [udig-devel] How to Connect IDS (Informix Dynamic Server)-containig Spatial DataBladae to uDig

IDS is a "sister" of DB2. It is a relational database very similar to DB2 and the IDS Spatial Datablade is based on the same underlying technology as the DB2 Spatial Extender.

There are some syntactic differences between the SQL in certain cases so they aren't transparently interchangeable. (DB2 uses " = 1" to test the truth of a function while IDS tests for "true", although I don't remember the exact syntax)

Hi I don't know any thing about this. Is it database? uDig supports DB2, Oracle and Postgis, (Postgis and DB2 are the better choices)
