[udig-devel] [jira] Created: (UDIG-1080) Raster reprojection incorrect

Raster reprojection incorrect
-----------------------------

                 Key: UDIG-1080
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/UDIG-1080
             Project: uDIG
          Issue Type: Bug
Components: API render, wms, world image
    Affects Versions: UDIG 1.1.RC0
            Reporter: Cory Horner
         Assigned To: Cory Horner
            Priority: Critical
             Fix For: UDIG 1.1.RC5

Reprojecting an image (as a WMS or image file) often fails completely for difficult reprojections, and is merely slightly wrong when zoomed in. In most cases, the raster appears to be rendered in 4326 despite the "reprojection".

Temporary solution is to revert to the reprojection code used in uDig 1.0.6, and then move to GeoTools 2.3 for uDig 1.1.1 (taking advantage of the new GridCoverageRenderer).
