Rendering bug: Missing river lines
----------------------------------
Key: UDIG-816
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/UDIG-816
Project: uDIG
Type: Bug
Components: map
Versions: UDIG 1.1.RC0
Environment: WinXP SP2
Reporter: Matthias Basler
Assigned to: Jesse Eichar
Fix For: uDig 1.1
Attachments: riverRenderingBug.png
I have bc_2m_rivers in a map and have it styled using a "simple" style (not any special SLD magic).
When I look at the rivers in an overview some of them end (or better start) somewhere. This itself is to be expected, but when I zoom in (with mouse wheel) to some of them they are then continued.
In other words, some of the river lines are not shown in smaller scales.
I consider this a major bug, since rendering must be reliable.
Example is attached.
The coordinates of the "river end" in the example: 290820 : 6211405 (WGS84 UTM 11N)
The critical scale seems to be 1:60000 in this case.
